For many years modellers and model companies have attempted to reproduce the look of real coal in model form using all manner of resins and plastics yet their efforts never quite manage to capture the look of real coal.

We have for sale 100 gram bags of real coal (anthracite grains) suitable for use with 16mm/foot or G scale garden railway rolling stock, and which can be crushed for smaller scales. It can be used to replace the dummy plastic or resin coal loads found on a lot of model steam locomotives, or for the contents of a coal wagon or coal bunker.



The cost of one package sent by First Class Post (packet) is £4.50. Larger quantities are available on request at discounted prices depending on the quantity required and with appropriate shipping/postage charges.

If you would like to purchase some coal then please send an email to us containing your order quantity and a postal delivery address. We are happy to accept orders from outside of the United Kingdom as PayPal will deal with the currency conversion.

Payment is accepted by PayPal only. A PayPal invoice will be sent to you on receipt of your order, and this can be paid simply by clicking on the "Pay Now" button. Your coal will be despatched to you on receipt of your payment.
